Since its introduction in 2002, the Ottrott has set the standard for the ultimate in ride quality, durability, comfort and performance together in one bicycle. Today's Ottrott uses our latest Integrated Technology to extract the best properties of carbon fiber and titanium for drive-train stiffness, responsiveness and absorption of road vibration. The Ottrott is an exceptional bike for long miles in the saddle, aggressive climbs and rapid descents. Like every Serotta, the Ottrott is 100% handcrafted in the USA.

Specifications and Options

Titanium and carbon have unique qualities that, when appropriately combined, produce a bike that is more than the sum of its parts. Carbon is light, stiff and infinitely tunable. Titanium is a durable and resilient material that makes for a smooth yet snappy ride. The Ottrott's carbon tubes extend through its Ti lugs and are coped (mitered) to perfectly intersect the adjoining tube. This allows the torsional rigidity of the carbon to extend through the entire joint.

New for 2008: Rider-specific TC5 and TC3 TorsionCore™ Colorado Concept carbon fiber top and down tubes maximize drivetrain stiffness and vertical compliance.

Description:	The Ottrott SE features a C5IT Colorado Concept platform that combines TC5 Torsion Core™ carbon tubes and 3Al/2.5V titanium with more than 100 stiffness options and an eccentric machined head tube and bottom bracket shell for reduced weight.	The Ottrott GS features a C3IT Colorado Concept platform that combines TC3 Torsion Core™ carbon tubes and triple butted 3Al/2.5V titanium with more than 50 stiffness options and a standard head tube and bottom bracket shell.
