Review: DZ-NUTSSome pro riders get into the coffee business, while others flaunt clothing or bike lines. Well not one Mr. Dave Zabriskie in his own words “I wanted to make ass crème” and so he has.
DZ (Dave Zabriskie) Nuts, a colorful name and logo (a very, well phallic saddle) from one of the most colorful guys currently in the pro peloton. Just check out his website if you doubt me.
And it’s a fine product at that. Most people who use a chamois crème know Assos as the first and last name for their needs. While Assos still makes a great product DZ-NUTS I feel is just as good.
I originally bought this stuff on the name and heck because it’s Dave..I had to. What was a nice surprise is how well the stuff works. The feel of the stuff is nice with a bit of tingle, not quite as wet as a few other brands out there. I’ve done short rides, races and a couple centuries using DZ-NUTS and can report that all was well.
One other nice feature is the dispenser, a squeeze tube which allows for a bit less mess then with a jar. The only downside to that is you do lose a bit of product so you will have to cut the end off the get to the last bit.
Well Mr. Zabriskie all in all a nice job. I’ll definitely be using your product to as you say “protect my junk.”
