Get a Grip Athletes at ITU Triathlon World’s. Five athletes on the Get a Grip Cycles Elite Triathlon Team competed at the 2009 ITU Triathlon World Championship in Brisbane, Australia. Kim Goodell, Steve Johnson, Nick Early, Angie Koch, and Scott Michalik all raced Down Under for Team USA. Angie Koch and Scott Michalik entered the Sprint triathlon; Kim Goodell and Nick Early entered the Olympic triathlon; and Steve Johnson raced both. Steve Johnson earned the top result on the team with a 2nd place finish in the Sprint 30-34 Male age group. He finished a mere eleven seconds behind world champion Jai Forster from Australia.
